Bingchen Liu obtained his BA in Physics and Math in 2021 and MA in Physics from Wesleyan University. His interests in fluid mechanics and field science brought him to study oceanography, and he is starting the PhD program in physical oceanography at SIO in 2022 with interests in nearshore surface waves and currents. Bingchen also enjoys playing soccer, tennis, and traveling in his free time.
